the Jyane Nurse

I’ve talked about her a lot before... and those posts are waiting to be blogged per any request (hint hint). She’s older than the average nurse, but that’s also why she’s easier to talk to I think. Feels like we’re old friends when we talk, casual and relaxed. And that’s why I think she was so important during those times when I had my first surgery. She was the one who wheeled me into the operating room, and I don’t think anybody could’ve relaxed me more than her. I would place her with the angels, maybe high up on the hierarchy but she seems to down to earth for that. Maybe paradoxically that’s how angels are high up there. Anyway before I start to sound like a medieval scholastic, I wanted to dash out this bit in tribute to her. This morning she finished emptying the contents of both bags, replaced the warmed over cool pillow for a fresh one.
The Jyane Nurse. Jyane is what friends say when they say good bye.
