Is probably an insulting term to some. Like here’s my possession and she loves me so much, so devotedly doing anything for me. It’s not like that really, it’s more of a problem with names. I never call her by her first and she never calls me Luke, or James. It’s something unnatural for us. So to write her first name on the blog would be a lie. The nicknames we do call each other I’m not ready to reveal because they’re too private. At least hers is, it feels wrong, like I’m violating her privacy. And because on paper or screen it just looks wrong, it’s the kind of nickname that sounds ridiculous on my tongue when we fight or when I’m helplessly (necessary adverb there) pleading with her.
My nickname, or hell, my name with her is Kuma. For those of you who don’t know kuma means bear.
Anyway…
Kuma, aww. Perhaps in some relationships, where a spouse is taken for granted, or when humility and awe are lacking, perhaps then such a term as "my wife" may be insulting, but you have never come across like that. That was where my feelings of happiness for you came from with your last post, because you come across sweetly, in love, with your wife, and you tell of her love shining back at you :)
